I got got the idea for the first part while on a road trip and I notice the cracks on the road and came up with the kick drum beat for this. I went from there with whatever sounded good. The second part I used a more easy sound. The fill I got from, and some of you may hate me for referring to it, rock band. Whenever i needed to do a fill I would use what you here now. I'm hoping to improve my technique but the only way I can do that is from your comments. Tell me what you do and do not like and offer suggestions.

SWEET that was awsome the way you used the clap and the fast tempo. the single thing that i found that you could change is between the loop and the 2nd pattern smooth it out a little i can hear it jump a beat or something. its small but thats ther only thing i could find wrong. Keep doin what your doin.
Great sound, great sound.... The only thing that I would reccomend is that you experiment with more panning,if you did that it was sound killer!
That was good, I think the tempo might have been a little too fast, so it was hard to listen to a lot of the cool effects you had. To go against that, I really liked the drum run at the end of your fill.
i thought that was good but it was a little fast and some things were a little to loud like the bell but the endings was very good!
That must have been a very bumpy road your drove over for the first pattern! I like it. It's typical heavy rock, and you are correct- the fill was rock band all the way. Almost a cliche, but appropriate. I would have liked to have heard the cymbal (in the last pattern) doubled up so that it hit on every beat and not every other beat.
Well done.
